MAM Winter Social |

INCREASE IN CLUB DUES |
|
At the November MAM meeting, the club agreed to increase it’s club dues. The in-crease in dues was justified by the amount of dues paid by members of other North Dakota clubs. The increase will take affect for dues collected for 2012. The club dues will increase $10.00 for each type of membership except for the Junior membership. This increase will continue for 2013 with another $10.00 increase for all member-ships again except for the Junior member-ship. The club also voted and accepted the removal of the Life membership requiring those with Life memberships to now pay dues. |

Meeting Location & Date Changes |

The MAM club meetings dates have been changed from the first Tuesday to the FIRST MONDAY of each month. The meetings will be held at the workshop of club president Russ Gohl. He lives at 2807 8th street South East in Minot until the first meeting at the MAM Flying Field in May 2012. Members are asked to please bring a lawn chair to sit on at the meetings at the workshop. Large Mower Repair |
|
Our large diesel mower has developed a problem that is expensive to repair. The coolant leaked out through a brass tube that was behind other things so the leak wasn't detected until the engine got hot and warped the head. The head is back & repaired. The bill for that was $600. The total repair bill for head, gaskets, belts & labor may be $2000.00. It was originally expected to be about $3000.00 but since the head was able to be repaired, the repair may be about $2000. A motion was approved at the August 2 meeting for a special assessment of $30 per member to cover this repair so our funds will not be depleted too much.
